Spend a day working on your own projects alongside others doing the same. Wānaka HackAotearoa is a free, informal day to focus, share ideas and make progress on whatever you're working on.

A free day to work on your own projects, alongside other people doing the same.

Sometimes you just need to set aside the time to get things done.

HackAotearoa brings people together for a day of focused work on their own projects. You might be working on a business idea, running a business, freelancing, writing, or chipping away at something outside your usual working hours.

Despite the name, this isn't a traditional hackathon. There are no competitions, set challenges or teams to join. Bring your laptop and work on whatever matters to you.

You can spend the day focused on your own work, chat with others or ask for feedback when you need it. There's no expectation to pitch your idea or present your progress.
